Today as we’re facing the weekend, we have much more time for ourselves, we should take a moment to worry about our skin. With day-to-day; pollution, wind, stress, early mornings, work, and many other factors that do not end here, make our face is exhausted, sometimes leaving our skin looking a bit dull.
So, how do we solve this? Well, it’s very simply. Just follow five steps to perfect skin your skin so you can show off the best of smiles this weekend.

Cleansing the skin

This is fundamental to our skin step list. Clean your face with cool water so there is no dirt to clog up the pores and so that the skin is more awake.

You have two options to do this:

  1. Use brand facial cleansers (I prefer cleansers that are more natural and do not have any chemicals in).
  2. Prepare your own cleansers at home. It’s no hassle because they are very easy to prepare.

If you choose the second option, I’ll give you a great recipe for a homemade natural cleanser that works great. With this you will remove the impurities that accumulate in the face so that the skin looks clean, smooth and bright.

Recipe:

  1. Mix 1 tablespoon of oatmeal,
  2. 1/2 tablespoon yogurt,
  3. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  4. and 1 teaspoon of olive oil.

Easy to use. Simply:

  1. Apply the mixture to the face.
  2. Leave on approx. 15 minutes
  3. Rinse off with water.

Exfoliate the skin

Exfoliation is one of the most important steps for perfect and glowing skin. A good scrub will help remove dead skin cells, causing it to be much smoother in the process.

A great natural exfoliant that you can easily prepare at home is to:

  1. mix some lemon juice
  2. with a tablespoon of honey
  3. and some sugar.

How to use:

  1. I recommend using this scrub before taking a shower.
  2. Apply this homemade scrub to the face using circular movements. (However, be careful not to scrub too hard.)
  3. Jump in the shower and remove with warm water.

The honey will help to moisturize, the sugar will help remove the dead skin cells and the lemon will provide Vitamin C.

You can also use this scrub for the body. Just add more ingredients.

The importance of toner

Toning helps keep your face clean and firm. Using a toner will help to keep the face cool at all times. It also helps soothe the skin after shaving. But most importantly, it prepares the skin for subsequent hydration. If you opt for a homemade tonic, green tea has all these antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that work great for skin care.

Keeping hydrated, is a must everyday

Don’t forget to leave home without your moisturizer. Use a light moisturizer that is absorbed easily that hydrates the entire surface of your skin. Emphasize with eye contour in sensitive areas of the eyes, as they are the first areas where signs of aging are noticed. Products containing Vitamin E and chamomile help refresh and moisturize the skin under the eyes.

UV protection

Whatever the time of year it is, the sun is there, and its rays affect our skin. Most moisturizers have already have sunscreen in, but if not, look for one that contains at least 15 SPF protection. 90% of premature aging is due to unprotected sun exposure. So it’s no nonsense. Remember that both winter and summer, you have to use it.
